52        4. Employing interdependence
60        5. Gaining self-awareness
65        6. Adopting lifelong learning
74        7. Developing emotional intelligence
76        8. Believing in myself.

2. Write about the areas on the self-assessment in which you had your highest scores.
The areas I scored the highest on the self-assessment are: accepting personal responsibility, developing emotional intelligence and believing in myself.  I find it no mistake that I scored highest in these areas.  I am a firm believer in the thought that whether I succeed or fail depends completely on me.  In my opinion, success is a mindset.  If I believe that I can do something I can.  I also believe that placing blame on someone else for my position in life does nothing to improve my life.  I truly believe life is a series of choices.    Everything I am and have is based on the choices that I make.  The choices I make will determine the course of my life.  If I allow my emotions to govern those choices then I set myself up for making hasty decisions out of anger or fear or depression etc. Anytime I have made a decision out of anger or fear things usually didn’t work out too well for me.    The self –assessment and the way I scored was a good reminder for me of my beliefs.  A reminder that says I can do anything so long as I believe.

3. Write about the areas on the self-assessment in which you had your lowest scores.
The areas I scored the lowest in on the self-assessment are: Master self-management, employ interdependence and gain self awareness.  Once again, I am not surprised by these scores.  I have struggled with self management, organization, time management for many years.  I have found that if I don’t discipline myself but setting standards, I will accomplish absolutely nothing.  In addition, I love assisting people and helping them attain their goals but find it slightly more difficult to seek out the help for myself.  The choices I make to either not make a schedule for myself or not ask for assistance ultimately are behaviors that limit my maximum potential.  I enjoyed this self-assessment because it again reminds me of what I need to do to improve.  To help me in this course and other courses, I will stick to a schedule to keep me organized.  I plan to reach out to other students and my instructors more.
